I am a proud new member of the organization, Women in Design in Denver. It is a great group for anyone in the design field would like to network, learn from really cool people in the industry and to also support other business women. If you are in the industry, (and a women I should add) you should consider joining, lots of fun things happening. In fact, at my first event I bid on a rug in the silent auction at their monthly Member event. At the event I decided to bid on an rug from BOYLU. (The proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity so it was worth it) And I won!
BOYLU creates rugs for commercial environments. Hospitals, corporations, businesses, schools - high traffic areas. They also have amazing luxury vinyl tile and wall surfaces. Many of their products are made from recycled materials so please consider them if you are looking to add carpet to a commercial space.
BOYLU partners with Aztec Rugs here in Denver to finish off the edging on their rugs if needed. Jaime Rodriguez, the owner of the company has a beautiful showroom that you must visit if your considering custom rugs or flooring. Here is a photo of Jamie and Kimberly Lynch from BOYLU behind the scenes of his showroom.
If you are ever looking for the perfect flooring, and you have the budget -consider going custom. Most of us don't realize this is even an option, but I'm here to tell you - it is! A custom rug manufacturer will match the wool or material to custom match the paint. (Music to my ears!) At Aztec, they know how to do this exactly based on the material of the rug, true craftsmen. My mind is reeling with the possibilities!
Below are some more photos of the front of the studio in case you don't get to stop by.
Hundreds of samples to choose from!
This is just one rack, I love the abstract rug in the center.
Kimberly Lynch from BOYLU had amazing things to say about Aztec Rugs and the craftsmanship they provide. It is her go to for quality and when your paying for a custom product, you want it to be perfect. I have added Aztec Rugs to my go to, for clients in need of the perfect rug and I suggest you do the same. Thanks again to BOYLU for donating an item for the Women in Design silent auction - it will be put to good use!
Here is a sample of my new rug and the material Aztec will use to bind the edging.
